Hi Bulli-friends
I would like some advise about rubber water hoses from the motor to the radiator.
My metal pipes are old and I don't trust them very much. I want to replace all of these metal pipes with strong rubber hoses.
I am living in Czech, so my question is: Can anyone suggest to me WHAT KIND OF HOSE TO USE? Something that is available in Central Europe...
Many people are using "Marine hoses" (for boats)...
Thanks a lot for any suggestions!
Best regards
Edward

Better use non corrosive steel tubes.
For example: https://www.tk-carparts.de/article/4/Wa ... _1284.html
You have an old version with steel tubes. So with rubber hoses you will need to make modifications to some frame parts or you can use only hoses with to small cross section. Your tubes or hoses should have an inner cross section of about 32 mm (1 1/4 ")

Thanks... Yes I know that the stainless steel pipes are better but pretty expensive > also I have an EARLY ('81 diesel) radiator so there can be compatibility issues... I know that just 2 very long rubber hoses will work, and yes I will have to do some frame modifications to keep the hose from sagging down...neujoker hat geschrieben:Better use non corrosive steel tubes.

...but my question is: what KIND of hose is best? Can I just get any type of hot water hose as long as it is 32mm inside diameter? ...or is there some special type of material I should look for, or maybe it doesn't make much difference?
Thanks
